NVIDIA RTX 3000 and AMD RX 6000: prices continue to fall

On May 9, we provided you with a recap of price trends based on a statement from 3DCenter.org. Today, two days since June, what about that? Specifically, the decline in prices continues and we are really close to achieving the recommended prices. In fact, it’s just us 102% MSRP for AMD graphics cards and 106% for NVIDIA. For comparison, at the beginning of May we were at + 14% of the recommended price and + 7% from AMD.

NVIDIA RTX 3000 and AMD Radeon RX 6000: + 6% MSRP price at NVIDIA and + 2% at AMD

In addition to falling prices, we can see from the chart that demand for mining continues to fall. Because yes, even if some people think so, it’s not our guide to unlocking the LHR 100% on NVIDIA graphics cards that will increase demand for miners. At the same time, the availability of cards is constantly increasing. Note that to record prices, 3DCenter is based on the German and Austrian markets. It does not automatically reflect what we have in France, but general trend.

Let’s clarify that as wellthis is average : If we average + 6% MSRP for NVIDIA, this means that we are below (for example + 2%) for some models and above (for example + 15% for others). Needless to say, this is a fake report, because the pattern you are targeting is still 10% higher than the MSRP price. To see the details of the recorded prices, it is in the source.

Also, keep in mind that the cards closest to MSRP prices may not necessarily be the top models, such as ROG STRIX for ASUS or even SUPRIM X for MSI. But this is normal, these cards will always be a bit more expensive than basic and middle class cards, such as the DUAL series from ASUS or GAMING from GIGABYTE, because they benefit from other features and more advanced factory OCs.

However, we must not forget one important thing: the next generation of NVIDIA RTX 4000 graphics cards is said to arrive in August for the NVIDIA RTX 4090. Next time, the RTX 4080 will arrive, followed by the NVIDIA RTX 4070 for October / November. We expect the next generation of AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards in the same time horizon.
