What is the plot of the High Isle expansion?
The High Isle chapter is part of the Breton Legacy saga The Elder Scrolls Online. It offers players to embark on a former Breton home through a major quest that is part of the Breton Heritage. He asks to uncover the secret order of knights led by the mysterious Lord Ascendant and also by Magus Ascendant, dark figures ready to draw the line behind the peace talks of the War of the Three Standards. If no one can stop them, they will throw the whole of Tamriel into a bloody war. Brittany culture commits, the heroes will have to face various insidious traps while unraveling various political intrigues. All of this, while coming under fire from three rival factions: the House of Dufort, the House of Mornard, and Unshakeable.
What are the new places to explore?
The new area to explore, the Systres archipelago, consists of the Île-Haute and Île d’Amenos. These places, which have never been explored in The Elder Scrolls, include towering cliffs, towering castles and lush jungles. The architectures to visit as well as the places to explore promise to be exotic. The artistic direction used brings a cachet that should appeal to regulars. These new places will make it possible to find some well-known protagonists.
What is Tales and Glories, a new tavern?
Tales of Glory is described as “a new way to relax in Elder Scrolls Online.” what is it all about? Just a collectible card game that can face NPCs or friends, a bit like Hearthstone or Magic. The player can collect cards through the Tavern (reserve of 5 cards) to create the best decks to defeat his opponents. At the beginning of the game, each participant chooses two packages that are associated with two mentors. These mentors can be called in during the game and give special bonuses to the player who started the action. The goal is obviously to chain devastating actions to victory in combat. There are two conditions for victory: either the player accumulates 40 Prestige, or he manages to gain the favor of four mentors. In this turn-based card game, players have 90 seconds to decide. There are eight mentoring packages available, each centered around the house or an individual of Tamriel. The first four packages (Celaros Loremaster, Delmene Hlaalu, Duke of Ravens and Saint Pekin) are available after completing the tutorial. The last four are unlocked by performing special tasks.
The High Isle expansion also includes a new raid (12 people PVE) called Doomsail Reef, new world events called Rifts and new bosses, side quests, dungeons and never-before-seen dens. In addition, this chapter brings collectibles and rewards that the adventurer will not find anywhere else on Nirna. Eventually, two new companions enter the arena: Braise (Khajit) and Isobel (Breton). They will benefit from dedicated tasks as well as a more elaborate story than other companions.
The High Isle extension from Elder Scrolls Online will be released on June 6, 2022 on PC and Mac. It arrives on June 21, 2022 on the Xbox One, Xbos Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
